Gregg Fehrman, P.E. VP of Engineering and Operations

Gregg Fehrman, P.E. VP of Engineering and Operations

Gregg is responsible for the management of all aspects of Engineering, Detailing, Procurement and Field Operations within the Stainless Group of FDH Infrastructure Services. In doing so Gregg’s focus is centered on providing the safest and most economical communication tower solutions customized to meet each client’s specific needs while safeguarding the high level of product quality that past, present and future clients expect from this historic organization.

Gregg joined the Stainless Team as an Engineer-in-training in 1993 shortly after graduating from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Structural Engineering. Under the tutelage of great mentors and alongside a dedicated team, Gregg accepted greater responsibility in the roles of Senior Structural Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, Chief Engineer and eventually President of Stainless, LLC.

He is appreciative of the history of the Stainless Organization and is glad to have been a contributing employee for over 24 years.

Gregg is a licensed professional engineer and a member of the following organizations; TIA, AISC, ASCE, AISC, ACI and NCEES.

Jon Marcusse National Sales Manager - Broadcast

Jon Marcusse National Sales Manager - Broadcast

Jon joined Stainless LLC in January of 2000 and left briefly in 2009 before returning in 2013. In his present role of National Sales Manager, Jon supports all facets of the company operations. Jon oversees direct sales of broadcast towers, services, and tower modifications to all television and radio companies in North America. He prepares bids and proposals, and he serves as liaison between company’s engineering and customers’ engineering to facilitate accurate load design and structural analysis. He has established excellent professional relationships with top US broadcasting companies.

Alan A. Pang, PhD PE Principal Engineer

Alan A. Pang, PhD PE Principal Engineer

Alan oversees the structural engineering functions within Stainless, working under the overall management of the VP of Engineering and Operations. He is responsible for the scheduling and execution of all tower structural analyses, design of tower and foundation modifications, and new tower designs. Alan’s paramount objective is the safety of our products, and to this end, comprehensive checks on all aspects of our analyses and designs are the norm in our office. In addition, working in cooperation with Field Services, he is also responsible for review of rigging plans, both in-house and third parties, to ensure that all construction complies with the relevant safety standards.

Alan has more than 30 years’ of structural engineering experience. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Malaysia in 1977 and subsequently his Master of Engineering from Lehigh University in 1979. After working for some years in Asia, he returned to Lehigh and received his PhD in 1994. Alan joined Stainless in 2005 and has advanced steadily in the organization to his current position as Principal Engineer. Alan is a licensed professional engineer in several states in the US.

Don Doty Business Development Manager

Don Doty Business Development Manager

Starting in the tower erection business in 1974, Don joined Stainless in 2000 and has served in varying roles covering all aspects of the tower erection industry. Don’s current role in Business Development places a priority in understanding and assisting broadcasters in solving a wide range of challenges facing them today. With a strong background in safety, Don speaks nationally about understanding the importance of tower related safety issues and is instrumental in furthering safety awareness through committee involvement in the National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE), the National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) and the ANSI/ASSE A10.48 Standard.

George Hottensen A & E Manager

George Hottensen A & E Manager

George is responsible for managing all aspects of the CAD / Drafting Department and the Procurement of all fabricated steel and buy-out items. George assures that the quality of the product is what clients have grown to expect from Stainless over the years.

George joined Stainless as a co-op student from Drexel University in 1977 and became Drafting Manager in 1980. George left Stainless in 1990 but, was asked to return as Drafting Manager in 1999 when the Broadcast Industry was changing from analog to digital. George later accepted additional responsibilities in Procurement and as an A & E Manager.

Troy Peavey Director, Field Operations

Troy Peavey Director, Field Operations

Troy has worked in the broadcast industry his entire career. He joined Stainless in 2011 after working for a major TV and FM antenna manufacturer. As Director of Field Operations, Troy oversees the development, implementation, operation, management and evaluation of personnel, procedures and projects within the field operations group. Troy is an industry leader in Safety. As an active National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) Safety and Education subcommittee member he helps develop and produce educational/safety materials for our industry. Throughout his career, Troy has developed and maintained valuable professional relationships with major broadcasting and broadcast service companies throughout the United States.

Patrick Moore Field Service Specialist

Patrick Moore Field Service Specialist

As Field Service Specialist, Pat is responsible for Field Operations proposal estimating, rigging plan development and implementation, and coordination and maintenance of all equipment and tooling. Pat also assists the Director of Field Operations with new hire selection, crew staffing per project and technical expertise on project tasks both below and above grade.

Starting in the tower erection business in 1976, Pat has performed in every area of broadcast tower related service. In 1995, Pat was one of the founding members of the National Association of Erectors (NATE) Safety and Education Committee of which he is still a member. In 2000, Pat joined Stainless during the hectic digital television transition period assisting in the most complex projects. Pat is also a member of the team that created the TIA-1019 Gin Pole Standard which later transitioned into the ANSI 10.48 Standard.
